Adare SEC announces MND Association as its 2024 charity partner

Adare SEC has announced the MND Association as its charity partner for 2024. As a business, Adare SEC has a rich history of supporting charitable causes and encouraging colleagues to contribute to local and national sustainability and fundraising efforts. These individual acts of kindness will continue, but the organisation wanted to select a single beneficiary for its corporate fundraising drive.

Founded in 1979, the MND Association focuses on improving access to care, supporting research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by motor neurone disease (MND). The Association’s campaigning continues to give people living with MND a voice and has been instrumental in encouraging decision-makers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to bring about meaningful change.

Tony Strong, CEO, Adare SEC comments: “It’s extremely important for us to give back as a business. Sadly, we’ve seen first-hand how cruel MND can be, so selecting the MND Association as our charity partner was a clear choice.

“We have a number of fantastic events planned for the year. Colleagues are enthused by the partnership, and I know that they will go above and beyond in order to raise funds for this important cause.”

Richard Parris, Corporate Partnerships Development Manager, MND Association, comments: “Partnerships of this kind are absolutely crucial to the ongoing work that we do as an association. The Adare SEC team has shared some of the innovative and exciting fundraising ideas that it has planned, and I have absolutely no doubt that everybody in the business – and beyond - will give their full support.”

More detail of Adare SEC’s fundraising initiatives in support of the MND Association will be announced in due course.
