Employee Experience Business Partner

What are we looking for?

The Employee Experience Business Partner works with managers and key stakeholders to help build the people capability and help to shape and implement effective strategies and activities within the organisation, focusing on recruitment, retention, engagement and the overall employee experience.  

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to support the business strategy from a people perspective, including recruitment of new talent, retention of key people and reward strategies.
  • Use HR information systems to gather people data and insights on key people metrics such as absence, staff turnover, cost per hire etc.
  • Provide a proactive HR service, including employee relations, resourcing, people development, performance management & reward, as well  involvement in workforce planning and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance  with employment law requirements by keeping apprised on existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising manager on actions as appropriate.
  • Work with the Director of Employee Experience to create and maintain a company culture and people approach which support the business strategy.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the people strategies and plans, including employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage an Employee Relations caseload.
  • Create and update people policies and procedures.
  • Manage internal Employee Experience communications 

Who do we need?

  • Experience in Human Resources, either in a HR Generalist, Advisor or Business Partner role.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards.
  • Experience of dealing with employee relations processes.
  • The ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proactive nature.
