Main Purpose of Role

Working within the Change Delivery department you will be responsible for delivering both internal and external pieces of work in a timely manner and to a high standard. The work that you will be required to produce may require you to work on one or more technologies to provide the best solution possible. You will be required to work on a range of job types ranging from simple text changes taking a few minutes to more complex and intrusive changes that may require a number of weeks work. A major consideration at all times is the security and quality of the work provided; as such you need to ensure that you adhere to the security and testing procedures.  Communication with other Adare SEC teams is a vital component of the job role as we need to ensure that production schedules are maintained.

Role Description

• Develop quality standards and validation techniques in line with customer requirements
• Advise internal and external customers on our capabilities and identify any potential restrictions on a job by job basis.
• Adhere to the Adare SEC processes and procedures to ensure that appropriate testing is completed prior to any customer proofs being supplied.
• Undertaking testing as required/requested
• Ensure that data retention timescales are adhered to.
• Review and asses the job requirements prior to starting the work, raising any concerns to the appropriate Team Leader/Scheduler.
• Check that the estimated deliver dates for the job are achievable, raise any concerns with the appropriate Team Leader/Scheduler
• Maintain communication with the appropriate Team Leader/Scheduler/Customer services representative to ensure that deliver dates and potential issues are known.
• Ensure that all defects and changes are raised via the appropriate method
• Ensure that all customer raised Defects are Defects and not changes.
• Develop Workflows for Direct Mail and Transactional Mailings, e.g. mailers, letters utility bills, invoices, taking supplied data from transactional billing systems and composing the bill taking into account issues such as pagination rules to facilitate multi-page documents
• Add enhancements to customer-supplied print-ready data using the most appropriate method; typically in connection with dynamic-length transactional type documents

• Experience of using the Quadient Inspire Automation software

• Previous experience of working with a workflow solution
• An understanding of data formats (CSV,XNL,JSON)
• Experience of document composition software
• An understanding of mail sortation
